Our office hours are Monday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Meet the Team

MARCUS SUR, DDS

Dr. Marcus Sur graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) after completing his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Haverford College near Philadelphia. After graduating from the dental school, he completed 1-year General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City. Dr. Sur joined Garrisonville Dental in 2018 after practicing in the Hampton Roads area in southeastern Virginia for four years.

Dr. Sur takes a gentle, conservative approach to understand the patient’s dental needs and provide comprehensive dental care that not only prioritize the patient’s particular needs but also focus on restoring the overall dental health. To provide the best care, he keeps up with the latest advance in dentistry by continuing his education in all phases of dentistry.

During his spare time, he enjoys many sports including soccer, football, baseball, basketball, and tennis. He is also bilingual in English and Korean.

DYLAN THOMAS, DDS

Dr. Thomas is a DMV native with a profound passion for dentistry, inspired by his mother, a Dental Hygienist. He earned his Master’s Degree from John Hopkins University and his Degree of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Thomas is committed to staying current with the latest advances in dentistry through continuing education courses. He practices compassionate dentistry and values building genuine relationships with his patients, treating them like family.

Outside of work, Dr. Thomas enjoys staying active, whether playing pickleball, competing in tennis matches, or hiking on Virginia trails with his wife, Mona. As a black coffee and red wine connoisseur, Dr. Thomas has tips for minimizing teeth staining from these beverages and is always happy to share.

SUNG HAN, DDS

Dr. Han attended and earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering with honors from the University of Miami. He then went on to earn his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University. In 2000 Dr. Han also attended Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program from the University Of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Dr. Han believes in keeping up with the latest technology and updates in the dental community. He continues his education with attending numerous dental courses such as AIC.

Dr. Han takes a gentle approach, easing any concerns patients might have by providing valuable patient education. He listens to his patients so that he can best understand your particular dental needs. He strives to provide the highest level of dental care using his skilled training in the latest advances in dental technology. Dr. Han’s great sense of humor makes patient’s feel right at home. He is also bilingual in English and Korean.

In his free time, he enjoys playing sports like Tennis and Golf.

AMMAR HASAN, DDS

Dr. Hasan was trained at the first dental school in the world, the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He also completed an additional year of advanced training at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) clinic. This rigorous training provided him with exceptional experience in complex dental procedures and patient care. Dr. Hasan provides patient-centered care in general and cosmetic dentistry.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Dr. Hasan has a deep respect and understanding for service and is particularly passionate about helping his fellow veterans achieve and maintain their oral health goals.

When not in the office, Dr. Hasan enjoys staying active through hiking, soccer and biking. His personal hobbies include photography and traveling, which allow him to explore and bring new perspectives to the practice.

Dr. Hasan is fluent in Arabic and is working on his Spanish.
